No, once an attorney has been retained on a civil traffic infraction, you are no longer required to appear, the attorney will appear on your behalf. However, if you wish to appear, you may at your own election. In the event that you have a criminal traffic citation, or an infraction for which your appearance is required (normally checked on a box right below the half way mark on your ticket and on the left side) your appearance is required at all hearings, which our firm will notice you of by mail and phone.
